Since late last year, Jessica Mauboy has been hard at work writing and recording tracks for her follow-up to 2008′s very successful debut album ‘Been Waiting’.

Well there’s not long to wait now with the news that in a couple of weeks the first single will make it’s radio debut – featuring none other than Snoop “Doggy” Dogg. We’ll give you more information as it comes to hand, but expect it to Australian radio in the second week of September.

EDIT: We all remember Flo Rida teamed up with Jess on her debut single ‘Running Back’. Well news just in, he’s back for more on this next album – as well as some help from Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am. This sure is shaping up to be one massive album.

Last week, we let you know to expect new music from Jessica Mauboy in the next couple of weeks.

After some digging around, we can exclusively reveal that Jess will team up with Snoop Dogg on the first single called ‘Get ‘Em Girls’. We’ve also heard that the video to the track has already been shot, and it’s Jessica like you’ve never seen her before – we’re talking Janet Jackson/Beyonce style here folks.

The single is expected to be sent to Australian radio on, or around Monday September 6th, and will be available to buy on iTunes Friday September 24th. The album will be released Friday November 5th. Stay tuned.

Yeah not been very active The weather here is wierd it is supposed to be cold but its to hot for this time of year, its very draining feeling tired a lot lately

Wow hot weather now. I'd hate to see what it will be like in summer.. It's been very rainy here and now the river right next to the school is flooded
